That's not a knock on Robert, by the way: great work covering the various Division Series!

I am watching the Yanks/Twins on TV, and the between-innings commercials are driving me crazy. I know that it's a basic principle of advertising to repeat your message in order to ensure that it gets across, but showing the same commercial twice in the same break!? Argh!

Robert previewed both 1:00 games in the other thread, and I've mentioned Yanks-Twins there in a couple of comments, but there's been more going on in Miami, thanks to Clemens' fine work.

Looks like Torre's going to call on Rivera for a two-inning save. How far can they go with a one-man bullpen?

Rivera, mixing in a sinker and high cheese with his famous cutter, was untouchable. That was just the fourth playoff game the Twins have ever lost at home, where they have won 13.

Trivia question: Who was the first visiting winning pitcher at the Metrodome?

Oops - that's what I get for not reading all the threads :-).

It couldn't have been Clemens. Dave Stieb?

No, it wasn't Stieb. Juan Guzman, in his rookie year. Game 2, 1991, Blue Jays 5, Twins 2. Odd pitching usage: Henke relieved Guzman in the sixth!
