You've heard the rumours, seen the telltale signs, read the writing on the wall. I'm here to tell you it's all true. No no no, not that bunk about the Cabal. Not the hearsay about Moffatt threatening to walk if the Cabal doesn't properly acknowledge his personal "Economic Impact" round here. Not even the gossip about Jordan’s... well, you know as well as I do, and it's pure fiction anyways.

Batter's Box is proud to present previews of the upcoming season for all 30 Major League teams. Kicking things off on Monday, February 23, Craig Burley will chair a Box round table in sorting out the mess known as the Detroit Tigers. John Gizzi is up on Tuesday to explain the limitations to the commonly held equation San Francisco = Barry Bonds = 1st place in the NL West. On Wednesday I'll try to convince you that the Padres are Blue (Jay) Light.

The previews will continue through Spring Training, culminating, naturally, with a dissection of the Fighting Jays, performed, naturally, by Coach Kent Williams. Along the way, many burning questions will be answered, not just about what will happen between the white lines, and even beyond what's going on in the minors or the front offices of your second-favourite teams. I'm referring to such quandaries and conundrums as "Who is the best poet in the Box?", "Is Mick ready to revoke his Yankee Fan Club membership?", and "Would Dave Till ever consider jumping into Lake Michigan?".

For easy navigation and future reference, the complete set of previews will be stored in the Box archives under Features.
