Jays Roundup - But I See Danger; Stranger Beware

A circumstance when you make your dreams. A song you've heard dozens of times although you may not realize it. Here are some Jays articles, however, that should be new to you:

  1. Fordin Notes on yesterday's game against the Reds.

  2. Geoff Baker: "Jays not in a rush to hurry top pick". Although Aaron Hill isn't all that similar to Felipe Lopez, Lopez does serve as a good cautionary tale about why you shouldn't rush your prospects.

  3. In what seems to be a new springtime ritual, there's an article about how Ken Griffey Jr. is going to bounce back from his injury problems. Today's article "Junior not ready to be written off just yet" is courtesy of one Mr. Richard Griffin. Unless he falls really far in the draft, he's not going to be a BBFL Fish Candy this season.

  4. "Pitcher perfect to start spring" is Larry Millson's take on Jason Arnold's outing yesterday. I've been telling anyone who will listen that Arnold is still a top pitching prospect, so few were as happy with his performance yesterday as I was.

  5. Millson points out that Arnold wasn't the only Jay who had a good day yesterday, as "Woodward doubles twice in grapefruit opener"

  6. The Sun has a good summary of yesterday's game.

  7. Baseball Prospectus has some info on the Jays in their latest Prospectus Triple Play. Thanks to Ducey for the link!

  8. Shane found the Florida Today article "Blue Jays' Arnold perfect".

Congrats to Randy Winter for getting yesterday's reference to XTC's This is Pop. One of my favorite videos of all time.
