With Moffatt away we are relying on you, the readers of Da Box, to provide articles and commentary on the Jays for discussion today.

You earn bonus points for 80s references.

As always, the easiest way to link an article is to paste the address in the 'homepage' and let everyone know to COMN (click on my name) to read the article.

Here's a few to prime the pump:

* Ted Lilly took the mound and threw batting practice on Thursday. It sounds like there's a chance he could make his starts when the season begins.

* If and when Lilly returns he'll be considered the AL East's best lefty starter, which isn't necessarily saying a lot. Personally, I'd be pretty satisfied with a 4.50 ERA and 200 innings this season.

* Josh Towers had an effective start in the Jays 7-2 vistory over the Reds. Here's the recap and boxscore. Delgado and Rios both had jimmy jacks.

* Obviously they don't mean a whole lot, but here are the spring training stats for the Jays. Simon Pond continues to swing the hottest bat in camp.

* USA Today has been running thumbnail sketchs of each team throughout spring training (although technically it's not spring, and it's been snowing a lot recently....). Today the Jays are featured ranking 12th overall.

* Pat Hentgen gets the start on Friday against the Twins of Minnesota. Rumor has it Gleeman will skip classes to listen to the game. Of course not going to class on Friday shouldn't technically be considered skipping class.

What news have the rest of you found?
