Jays Roundup - You Can Act Real Rude and Totally Removed

And I can act like an imbecile

  1. No notes from Mr. Fordin today (unless I'm blind), because yesterday's 12-2 win over the Phillies gave Spencer too much material to be condensed into note form. Here's the box score and game report. Today sees Josh Towers vs. the Reds.

  2. Yesterday's match resembled a leaf game as "Four ejected in Phillies-Jays game". However, unlike a Leaf game, Toronto actually played some defense.

  3. Batista tells Fordin that "Hits were unintentional". Makes sense, as you generally don't try to plunk people with change-ups. Unless you're me and that's your hardest pitch.

  4. The CP's take on the beanballs.

  5. Geoff Baker's take along with some notes.

  6. Fordin reports that "Jays set roster for regular season". For thos of you paying attention, you know that means Douglass has the 12 spot, and Miller and Hermansen are Skychiefs. For now.

  7. The Globe has info on the Justin Miller and Sean Douglass moves.

  8. All kinds of stuff from the Star today. "Jays in tough to move up from 3rd". Wow. What's next? A story on the high levels of Dihydrogen Monoxide in our water supply?

  9. Chris Zelkovich reports that 35 of the games this year will be broadcast in HDTV.

  10. Geoff Baker gives the views Sean Douglass has on Canada in "Newest Jay pitcher excited about returning to Canada". He's right; milk in bags is really, really strange.

  11. Shi Davidi's take on the newest Jay in "Douglass earns Jays final roster spot".

My brain is still fried from yesterday's draft. What have I missed?

Anyone doing anything interesting this weekend? I'm going house hunting. w00t.
