Jordan Bastian of bluejays.com has twittered that Travis Snider is rejoining the big club while Joe Inglett gets to say hello to Cosmo once again by heading back down to Las Vegas.  A tip of the ball cap to Bauxite "razorramone for alerting us in an earlier thread about Snider returning in a story from the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Snider is back in Baseball North after basically killing the crap out of the ball in Las Vegas and other ballparks in the Pacific Coast League.  The PCL is a notorious hitter's league but the 21 year-old slugger still put together a sterling batting line of .337/.431/.663 for an OPS of 1.094!    The left-handed hitter slugged 14 homers, 13 doubles and a triple to go along with 40 RBI in 175 at-bats.  Snider was also hitting .439 over his past 10 games with the 51's so his bat is "en fuego!".   Among his AAA highlights include a two-home run performance against the Iowa Cubs at Wrigley Field earlier this month.  Snider will look to improve on his big league totals of .242./.292/.394 from earlier this season when he hit three homers and drove in a dozen before being sent down in May.

Poor Joe Inglett gets the "Jeremy Accardo treatment" as he's back to "Lost Wages" to make room for Snider.  The 31 year-old left-handed hitter goes down despite an 8 game hitting streak in which he hit .310 (9-for-29, BB) to raise his average to .246/.307/.304.  Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see Snider back up here and he deserves it but I have to admit I have a soft spot for "Mighty Joe".  He should be back when the rosters expand in September.

And somehow Kevin Millar lives another day.

Dopirak is Millar's doppelganger, and he's still a cowboy down.

I guess they will use the money that was to be used for singing bonus' on this years draft to give Snider an extra year of arbitration?

According to MLB Trade Rumors, Snider won't be Super Two.

Is this a good thread for minor league comments until a new one is up?

Gus Perrie went 3/5 with a double and a triple - he's hitting .351 in the last 10 games.

Johermyn Chavez was 4/4 tonight with a homer and he's hitting .409 in the last 10.

As has been mentioned elsewhere, Pastornicky is up to Dunedin and went 2/4

David Cooper seems to have caught up to AA pitching since the break

And Mastroianni is hitting .444 in his last 10 games - with an OBP of .550 - (8 BB's) and 11 SB's - caught stealing once.

I stand corrected - in the last 13 games - this guy is hitting something like .500

He's been there for about 7 weeks - and already leads the team in SB's - LOL - and is now getting close to the top batting average as well. He may score 100 runs this season - with a .400 OBA and 70 SB's - in the FSL and then with New Hampshire.

He is also a human highlight film in CF. And leads the entire system in Outfield assists.

And you wouldnt even know the guy plays in the Toronto system - because we are too busy talking about 1st and 2nd rounders that cant even break the Mendoza line.

Just too weird,  and funny in a bizarre sort of way.
