The Canadians spit the bit on Saturday but Roberto Osuna sparkled.

Vancouver 2    Boise 3

The Canadians were four outs from the NWL Championship but let it slip away and will be forced to play a deciding Game Three on Sunday night. Roberto Osuna finished his season in spectacular fashion with five innings of two hit, shutout ball, walking none and striking out nine.

Balbino Fuenmayor went 3-for-4 with a triple and a run scored while Tucker Frawley had three singles. D.J. Davis was 0-for-5 with four strikeouts.

That's it for me this minor-league season. See you for the Top 30s.

Ouch tonight - Taylor Cole pounded for 7 runs. Pen doing a great job though. Trick is for the 'real' prospects to do well and gain experience. A win is a bonus.

Quite a win for the `unreal` prospects like Fuenmayor, Charles and Flores though.

The Jays have added McGuire, Dyson and Stilson to their AFL contingent.

I have a couple of injury questions on Jays prospects. Does anyone know what kept Peter Mooney out all season? I was intrigued by him after his short debut in '11.

What about Kevin Nolan and Andy Burns? Nolan easliy deserves a chance in AA by now with how well he has played, but he missed the last couple months. Burns went down around the same time and looks like an intriguing prospect as an overslot signee. I'd like to know if it is serious or if they will be ready for spring training.

I can't speak to Mooney's or Nolan's injuries, but Andy Burns went down with a broken wrist. I'm assuming he would be ready by spring.
