Today the farm went 4-2, with two rainouts for Dunedin.  Ricky Romero had a fantastic start for Buffalo versus a veteran Scranton W/B lineup.  Marcus Stroman had another quality start by the books for NH in an game that went into extra innings.  DJ Davis lead the Bluefield attack in which they scored 9 runs.

Buffalo 7 – Scranton/WB 1

Ricky Romero had a fantastic start today versus a veteran RailRiders team full of ex-major leaguers.  Ricky pitched 8 innings, giving up 4 hits, one earned run, along with one walk, and four strikeouts.

Sean Ochinko hit his third home run since his promotion to Buffalo. Jimy Negrych was 1-2, with two rbi’s and two walks.

New Hampshire 7 – Reading 5 (12 Innings)

Marcus Stroman had a quality start by the book, but was not as sharp as one would hope.  Marcus Stroman pitched 6 innings giving up 4 hits, 2 earned runs, with 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts.  But the scary part of Marcus’s start was his 3groundouts – 8 flyouts, to go along with his already high 1.4 HR/9.

The Fisher-Cats offense was tremendous today with 14 hits, 4 walks which totaled 7 runs.  Adam Loewen, and Kevin Nolan each had a home run with two hits.  Brad Glenn had two home runs as well, including one in the 12th inning which gave NH the lead.

Dunedin 1 – St Lucie 1 (Suspended after 3 Innings)

Vancouver 0 – Boise 3

Colton Turner had a fantastic start, but wasn’t enough as Vancouver didn’t score any runs today.  Colton’s line today consisted of 6 innings, 6 hits, one earned run, one walk, and five strikeouts.

Vancouver had 8 hits and 2 walks today, but unfortunately they didn’t score any runs.  LB Danzler had three hits, including a double and Brenden Kalfus had two hits including a walk.

Bluefield 9 – Pulaski 2

Bluefield scored 9 runs on 10 hits and 5 walks today versus Pulaski.  DJ Davis had another monster game today for Bluefield, as he scored three runs, with two home runs, and a walk.  Dawel Lugo had two hits as well in the game contributing to the offensive attack.

Today Chase DeJong started, while Canadian Shane Dawson came out of the pen in the 5th inning for the piggybacking duo.  Chase pitched 4 innings, giving up 2 earned runs, on 5 hits, with 3 walks, and 3 strikeouts.  Shane Dawson pitched 4 scoreless innings giving up 2 hits, along no walks and 9 strikeouts.
