Stroman has had a really good year.  16 starts so far, just 3 where he allowed more than 2 runs - May 29th (1 inning, 8 runs, 7 earned), yesterday (6 2/3 IP 5 R/ER, 113 pitches), July 2nd (6 2/3 IP 3 R/ER, 99 pitches).

3 times this year he has gone over 110 pitches (113 twice, 112 the other) throwing 6 2/3 IP each time.  Total line of 20 IP 20 H 9 R 8 ER 5 BB 28 SO (3.60 ERA).
3 other times he cracked 100 pitches throwing 7 innings each time allowing 2 R/ER each time. Total line 21 IP 16 H 6 R/ER 3 BB 20 SO (2.57 ERA)

Just 2 of his starts had fewer than 5 IP, total of 7 with under 6 (meaning 9 with 6+ IP).  His last 8 starts all were 6+ IP, total line of 53 2/3 IP 46 H 20 R 19 ER 11 BB 66 SO 6 HR.  He is really looking good down there, even though he got hit a bit yesterday.

Prospect list are all well and good, except after a certain point on the list readers will ask "who" and really wonder of the value of these prospects.

I think a much, much more relevant list takes care of more. Do a Top 15 list for Buffalo and New Hampshire as a unit. Another Top 15 list for Dunedin and Lansing as a unit. Then a Top 15 list on Vancouver, Bluefield and the Rookie Rookie team in the GCL. Evaluate Trade Value, emergency call up value, and the normal advancement projections.

It will be harder work but could have better relevance. And perhaps a better understanding of why someone's traded.
