Game Threads Game thread - 8/26 vs New York

Can the Jays put together a two game win streak?  RA Dickey will try to pitch well under the Dome, which I assume will be closed tonight given the thunder throughout the day today.  Phil Hughes is on the other side.  Captain Jetes is back for the bombers.  He will have to beat Ryan Goins, Anthony Gose, Moises Sierra and Kevin Pillar, all of whom are in the lineup tonight.   With Thole catching Dickey more than half the lineup were in Buffalo mid-season.

 

 



In other news:

Brett Cecil has a sore shoulder and is out for a few days

Steve Delabar will go out on rehab Wednesday, could be back next week

Dustin McGowan will pitch in a game on Friday

Colby Rasmus had a setback in his recovery

 

And in minor league news Buffalo catcher Sean Ochinko received a 50 game suspension for amphetamine use.

It just gets better and better. Who said it couldn't get any worse? Why? Because I want to hit them. (To stay green I would use a fallen tree branch.)

It's a good thing the Jays are torching their relievers (Delabar, Perez, Cecil) in an effort to finish with an unsightly record instead of a brutal one. Can Loup be far behind in joining his teammates on the DL?

AA can always trade for another batch of bullpen arms this off-season, right?
