Dunedin saved the day by banging out eighteen hits. DJ Davis made an error that led to three unearned runs as Lansing lost. New Hampshire and Buffalo lost by a lot. JA Happ made a rehab start and pitched OK but did not dominate.

Pawtucket 7 Buffalo 4

This game was close until the seventh. Marcus Walden had pitched well in relief of JA Happ but in the seventh he gave up a run and left the bases loaded. John Stilson poured fire on Walden's mess and four runs scored in the inning. Happ went 4.2 innings, 4 hits, 2 walks, 6 K's, 90 pitches.

The Bisons had six hits, Kawasaki had two. Pillar and Gose had a hit each.

Binghamton 9 New Hampshire 1

Austin Bibbens-Dirkx pulled a Dickey, he gave up a two run and a three run home run in six innings. Randy Boone gave up the other 4.

The Fisher Cats had just six hits, Brad Glenn and John Berti had two each. Both of them are hitting over 300. Andy Burns had one hit, Kenny Wilson had an o-fer and after a hot start has a 240 batting average.

Dunedin 12 Daytona 2

Dunedin's bats were on fire, 18 hits in total, with every hitter registering a hit. Derrick Chung had four hits, including his first home run. Dwight Smith had two doubles, drove in three runs, and lowered his batting average to 469. Dalton Pompey, Matt Newman and Gustavo Pierre had two hits each also.

Ben White made his first start of the year and pitched five innings giving up both runs. Kramer Champlin and Chad Girodo each pitched two innings in relief.

Quad Cities 5 Lansing 3

This game was decided by a two out, two run error by DJ Davis in the seventh inning of a tied game. Another unearned run was tacked on that innings and now Lansing trailed 4-1. Brady Dragmire was the victimized pitcher. Jeremy Gabryszwski also gave up an unearned run, but that's all in five innings.

Offensively Matt Dean had two doubles to bump his average to 370. Justin Atkinson broke his season zero average with three hits. Dickie Thon had one hit to keep his hit streak going and Santiago Nessy tripled in a run.
