Buffalo at Scranton WB - postponed

Sean Nolin was due to start.

Reading 10 New Hampshire 11 - 12 innings

New Hampshire led 9-4 before the bullpen coughed up a five spot in the eighth. Shawn Hill made his first start of the year and gave up four runs in six innings. Tyler Ybarra pitched a scoreless seventh but loaded the bases in the eighth and left with one out. John Anderson threw the match on the fire via a single and a home run. Anderson and Wil Browning combined to give up a run in the tenth. Browning ended up pitching 2.2 innings, dodged trouble a couple of times, and got the win.

The Fisher Cats scored five runs in the fourth, Jon Berti with a triple, Ryan Schimpf with a double and a couple of errors were the main contributors. In the fifth New Hampshire added four runs on four singles and two walks. That was it until Berti delivered a home run with two out in the twelfth. Berti was 3-5 including a triple and a home run. AJ Jimenez played seven innings and had a hit in 4 trips. Schimpf had three hits.

Dunedin 5 Clearwater 0

Mayy Boyd was outstanding, 8 shutout innings, 2 hits, 12 K's. His ERA is now down to 0.29.

The hitters had just 6 hits but were walked 9 times. KC Hobson took 4 walks, Dalton Pompey had two hits and two walks. With the win Dunedin improves their record to 16-5 and lead their division by 4 games.

Bowling Green 9 Lansing 3

Tom Robson has really struggled this season, this start was somewhat better until it wasn't. Through the first three innings Robson had allowed two hits. But he gave up three hits in the fourth and three more in the fourth and left with the bases loaded. His line looks bad, 8 hits and six runs, three earned, but some of it was OK. The Lugnuts made three errors.

Dickie Thon had two hits and two RBI, Dawel Lugo also had two hits, perhaps the warmer weather will warm up his bat. Justin Atkinson also had two hits.
