On Friday Ryan Goins drove in the winning run for the Bisons in walk off fashion. On Saturday Kevin Pillar tripled to drive in two runs for a walk off win in Buffalo. New Hampshire lost in extra innings as their bullpen blew leads twice. Dunedin lost while Lansing won behind Jeremy Gabryszwski and Matt Dean.

Charlotte 5 Buffalo 6

Kevin Pillar tripled in two runs in the bottom of the ninth for the win. Trailing 5-4 Buffalo faced former Jay David Purcey in the bottom of the ninth. Darin Mastroianni singled to centre to start the inning. Ryan Goins then bunted and it went for a hit. Pillar then tripled in both. Goins was 3-5 and is finding his stroke again in AAA. Pillar, Mastroianni, Nickeas and Kawasaki had two hits each.

Ricky Romero has had an up and down season and this game was more down than up. Romero lasted four innings and allowed five runs on eight hits and four walks. Unusually, seven of the eight hits off Romero were ground ball hits. The bullpen was great, Rob Rasmussen pitched two hitless innings and Ryan Tepera pitched three hitless innings.

New Hampshire 5 New Britain 6 - 12 innings

The teams were tied at 3 after nine innings. New Hampshire scored in the tenth but New Britain hit a home run to tie. New Hampshire scored another in the twelfth but again New Britain hit a home run, a two run shot this time, to win the game. Aaron Sanchez started and gave up three runs in 5.1 innings. The first run started with an infield single and finished with a balk. Sanchez also gave up a 2 run home run in the fourth. Sanchez's command was not great, he threw a 50/50 mix of balls and strikes and walked 4. Jays relievers pitched 4.1 hitless innings before John Anderson gave up a game tying home run when they needed one out for a win. Richard Bleier then lost it in the twelfth.

The Fisher Cats had an unusual first inning. Jon Berti doubled and was caught stealing. Andy Burns walked and was caught stealing so AJ Jimenez hit a home run. Burns singled in Brian Van Kirk in the third for the second run. Michael Crouse singled in Jimenez, who had doubled in the sixth. Kevin Nolan singled in the tenth and scored on a sac fly. Nolan led off the twelfth with a single and scored on an error. The Fisher Cats had five base runners caught stealing or picked off. AJ Jimenez went 3-6.

Dunedin 0 Lakeland 2

Ben White pitched seven strong innings but did make one mistake, a 2 run home run. On this night that was enough to lose the game. White just allowed four hits.

The Jays had only 3 hits, Dalton Pompey had one of them to continue his strong start to the season.

West Michigan 1 Lansing 2

Jeremy Gabryszwski pitched a shutout through six innings. He rain into a little bit of trouble in seventh and allowed a run but finished with a line of 6.1 4 1 1 0 6.

Matt Dean carried the offense, he hit a home run in the second and a triple in the fourth. Justin Atkinson drove in Dean and the two of them each had two hits.
