The affiliates were 3-6 on Wednesday, with New Hampshire's game being postponed, Buffalo played a continued game from Tuesday, and 7 inning shortened game. 


Columbus 2 – Buffalo 3(7 Innings)

Aaron Sanchez had a respectable start in which he gave up 1 earned run over 4.1 innings, while walking 4, with 7 strikeouts.

Adron Chambers hit his 2nd HR of the season, and Andy LaRoche scored the other run on a Columbus throwing error.

 

 

Columbus 4 – Buffalo 5 (13 Innings)

This game was a continuation of Tuesday’s game which was suspended, and Buffalo won the game off of a walk off hit in 13th from Adron Chambers. 

Liam Hendriks started the game on Wed, and John Stilson started the game on Thursday.  John was by Steve Delabar, Bobby Korecky, Mike Zagurski, and finally Luis Ayala who got the win.

 

New Hampshire – Portland PPD

 

Dunedin 0 – Daytona 7

Dalton Pompey had 2 of the 4 hits for Dunedin on a night where they didn’t score any runs.

The pitching wasn’t any better as Jesse Hernandez gave up 7 runs (5 earned) over 5 innings.

 

West Michigan 8 – Lansing 2

Knuckleballer Frank Viola had a disappointing start giving up 6 earned runs over 4.2 innings.

Matt Dean had two of the five Lansing hits.

 

Vancouver 6 – Hillsboro 7

Starter Miguel Castro got hit hard, giving up 6 earned runs over 3.1 innings.

The offense had 11 hits, 6 walks, and 6 runs, but it wasn’t enough tonight.  Boomer Collins had 2 doubles, and Alexis Maldonado had 3 RBI.

 

Pulaski 2 – Bluefield 8

Chase Mallard got the first half of the tandem start, and pitched 4 innings giving up 2runs(0 earned).  Ryan Borucki pitched the second half and pitched 4 scoreless innings.

Bluefield had 13 hits, 2 came from Richard Urena, and 3 from Dan Jansen including a HR.  Jesus Gonzalez contributed with 2 hits, and Angel Rojas had 3 hits including a double and triple.

 

GCL Yankees1 5 – GCL Blue Jays 0

Conner Greene started and pitched 5 scoreless innings.  Jacob Brentz struggled in relief giving up 3 runs (1 earned) on 2 hits, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts.

The offense only managed 3 hits, and one came from Juan Tejada who had a double.

 

DSL Astros Orange 3 – DSL Blue Jays 0

Osman Gutierrez started and pitched 6 scoreless innings.  The bats only got 5 hits, with no walks, and 12 strikeouts.
