If Gibby is making this thing with Pillar personal, should we be asking questions about Gibby?

PeterG, I don't think there's a shred of evidence that Gibby has something personal against Pillar.

if he is not brought back  now in this time of need, one has to wonder?

There is no way Mastro should be on this roster..

Mastroianni has been lousy, but Pillar wasn't much better. And he hadn't done much in AAA since being sent down - just 250/268/375 in his last 10 games, with last night's 4/5 boosting his stats quite a bit.

If Pillar doesn't come back to Toronto at all this season, maybe it's personal. If he doesn't come back until, say, after the all-star break, it's no big deal.

The main problem with Pillar is that he hasn't played very well in the majors. Right now the Jays need performance on offense and defense.
