"Did 1999 Doc Halladay look anything like Aaron Sanchez now?"
What an interesting thing to think about!
My thoughts: Sanchez seems both far more overpowering than young Doc, and far less polished. Even before the famous 2001 rebuild, even when his ERA was over 10.00, Doc never seemed anything near as raw as young Sanchez. But I don't remember young Doc ever just blowing hitters away with that raw stuff, either.
