NOTES

Adam Kloffenstein was good through two innings. But then in the third four straight hits, two walks, and a grand slam from Jeimer Candelario made it a seven run inning. Scranton do have a very good team with a record that is 23 games better than Buffalo..

Brandon Valenzuela hit a two run home run in the second inning. Valenzuela has hit pretty well since coming over to the Jays for Will Wagner. He had been playing AA for San Diego but the promotion has gone well. The 24 year old's home run was his first for the Bisons. Mcihael Stefanic had two hits. Yohendrick Pinango had an RBI double.

I call Grant Rogers Mr. Reliable but against a strong Akron team he wasn't so reliable. He did go five innings but Akron scored five runs off him with seven hits.

NH scored three runs with eight hits. Charles McAdoo went 3-4 with a run and an RBI. Jevon Ward had an RBI double.

Silvano Hechavarria seems to be getting better as the season goes on. On Friday he had his longest and best start of the season. He went 6.2 innings, no runs, two hits, one walk, four K's. Juanmi Vasquez was perfect over the last 2.1 innings to make it a combined two hitter.

The C's had seven hits, Sean Keys had two including his 15th home run. Jay Harry doubled in two runs.

It was a tough night for the D Jays, they were two hit. One of the hits was deposited over the fence for Jake Casey's third home run of the season. Daniel Guerra did well as the starter, 4.2 innings, one run, six K's.
