NOTES
The Bisons had a strange game. They scored three runs with five hits in the first inning. They had just one hit from the second through the eighth innings. Then, in a 3-3 tie, in the ninth inning, two more hits led to the winning run. Seven hits in the first and ninth innings, one hit in the other seven.
In the first inning Jon Clase, Anthony Santander also doubled, RJ Schreck, Riley Tirotta and Josh Kasevich all singled. Kasevich also singled in the ninth and Phil Clarke singled him in.
The Bisons used five pitchers, Adam Kloffenstein started and went four innings.
New Hampshire played in a pitchers duel. The score was 1-0 for Chesapeake headed to the ninth inning. Fernando Perez had an excellent start, he went five innings and just allowed an unearned run. The run was unearned because of Perez's own error on a comebacker. Perez struck out seven and walked one.
In the bottom of the ninth Damiano Palmegiani and Jevon Ward each singled with one out. Peyton Williams made the second out and then Cade Doughty walked to load the bases. A wild pitch tied the game. That set it up for Eddinson Paulino to single in the winning run. Ward and Charles McAdoo led the way with two hits each.
