Notes

Trey Yesavage was not great. He needed 64 pitches to get through 2⅓ innings and was charged with four runs (two earned, because of his own throwing error in the first inning) on two hits and four walks while whiffing two. Brendan Cellucci came into the game with the bases loaded and stranded two runners over 1⅔ scoreless innings. Tanner Andrews put up two goose eggs as did Adam Macko. Yariel Rodriguez gave up another run over ⅔ of an inning despite a pair of Ks. An RBI double by Josh Kasevich and an RBI single by William Simoneit accounted for the Herd offence. Charles McAdoo walked and stole a base. Tyler Fitzgerald had a double.

Jackson Wentworth pitched three shutout innings before the 18-wheeler went off the cliff. He was charged with six runs over 3⅔ innings and Mason Olson gave up the other three in a nine-run fourth inning for the Fightin’ Phils. Geison Urbaez pitched two shutout stanzas while Kai Peterson and Caleb Freeman put up a spotless frame apiece. Jace Bohrofen opened the scoring with a solo homer in the top of the fourth. Eddie Micheletti had an RBI knock and reigning Eastern League Player of the Week Sean Keys rounded out the scoring with a dinger. Aaron Parker and Nick Goodwin both had a base hit and a base on balls.

Landen Maroudis set the tone on the mound with 3⅔ innings of shutout ball, scattering three hits and striking out four. Gilberto Batista got the win as he was nicked for three unearned runs over 3⅓ frames. Juanmi Vasquez finished up with two bagels with four punchies against two walks. Arjun Nimmala knocked in three runs with a 3-for-5 performance that included two doubles and a walk. Peyton Williams also had a three-hit night with a free pass. Reigning Northwest League Player of the Week Tucker Toman got on base five times that included a triple, a single and three walks. Jacob Sharp drove in three runs with a pair of singles and was hit by a pitch. Brennan Orf doubled, singled, walked twice and drove in two more runs. Carter Cunningham singled, walked thrice and scored thrice and took one for the team. However, the best batting line of the night was turned in by Matt Scannell who had a perfect night by going 2-for-2 with a double and walking four times. He also made a nice sliding catch in center field for the cherry on top. Every Canadians hitter had at least one hit and they tagged the loss on Chase Shores who was washed up to the tune of five runs in three innings. Of note, Manny Beltre was a last-minute addition at the top of the order after Maddox Latta was scratched.

Troy Guthrie tossed four innings of one-run ball and Dylan Watts followed up with three innings of one-run ball to get the win. Each of them allowed three hits and struck out four with Watts issuing a walk. Jack Eshleman had the two-inning save. David Beckles drove in the winning run with an RBI single in the eighth inning to cap off a two-hit night with a walk. Dariel 'Razor' Ramon also had two hits and stole a base. Blaine Bullard walked three times and swiped two bags. JoJo Parker and Juan Sánchez wore 0-for-5 collars.
