Vancouver and Dunedin had walk off wins. Buffalo scored two in the top of the eleventh to have the next best thing to a walk off. The FCL season started and the Jays won by a run. New Hampshire's game was postponed in the fourth.
Arjun Nimmala is being promoted to New Hampshire. Nimmala was hitting .132 on April 17th. Since then he has hit in ten of 13 games and raised his average by over 100 points and his OPS by 250, so he looks like he is ready. Austin Cates is also going to NH. That is more of a surprise as Cates has the highest ERA of Vancouvers starters. He may be promoted because he is the second oldest with the oldest being Danny Thompson Jr who is new to starting. However NH do have five starters so either one is injured, or going on the development list (Stanifer?), or Cates is going to the bullpen (less likely). Finally Nolan Perry has earned his promotion and it will be interesting to see how he fares there.

NOTES
Buffalo had to go to 11 innings to win. In the eleventh Josh Kasevich singled to move the runner to third. RJ Schreck then hit a sac fly to put the Bisons ahead. Willie McIver singled for the insurance run. The Bisons had eight hits, three players had two hits, Kasevich, Ismael Munguia and Rafael Lantigua.
CJ Van Eyk was the starter, he went five innings, striking out six. He was charged with two runs.
Fernando Perez started for NH and went 3.2 innings. Perez has had trouble with walks this year, I am not sure if its due to his delivery or if he is trying to be too fine because his stuff can't put them away. The hitters were swinging early, there were several one pitch at bats and Perez had just two whiffs. He ended up walking six hitters in 3.2 innings but only gave up one run. He struck out two.
Before the rains came Nick Goodwin had the only Fisher Cat hit, a two run home run. The Cats also had six walks so it was a wild day in AA.
Vancouver scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to win 8-7. The Hops did their bit to help, walking four C's hitters making it a 7-6 game. Manny Beltre then singled in two runs for the walk off. The C's had seven hits but they were helped by 11 walks. Beltre was the only hitter with two hits. Earlier in the game Dub Gleed and Jacob Sharp hit two run home runs.
Landen Maroudis started and Hillsboro scored four runs off him in four innings and a bit. He was a little unlucky. The first two runs came through an infield single, a walk and a bunt single. An error let one run in and a single the second. In the fifth inning a single and a walk led to Maroudis leaving the game. Gilberto Batista relieved him and immediately gave up a home run.
Dunedin led 4-2 in the seventh but Jupiter came back to lead 5-4 in the ninth. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth Austin Smith hit his first home run of the season to tie the game. In the tenth The Jays cut down a run at the plate. In the bottom of the inning Blaine Bullard, after a bunt, singled in the winning run. Jojo Parker, Juan Sanchez and Bullard each had a hit. Aldo Gaxiola had two.
Troy Guthrie was Dunedin's starter, he went 4.1 innings with just two K's.
The FCL season began on Saturday. Two players who missed all of 2025 had nice comebacks. Owen Gregg, 19 yo from Oakville went 3-4. Gregg missed all of 2025 due to an undisclosed injury. David Guzman, a 20 year old Venezuelan, also missed 2025. He got the Jays scoring started with a two RBI double. Another Canadian, Sam White, 21 yo from Newmarket was 2-4. Tim Paisentin from Alberta/BC doubled and drove in two.
The Jays gave the opening day start to 19 yo Angel Rivero. He struck out three in 2.2 innings but walked four. Miguel Pantoja, 18, struck out three in three hitless innings.
