Notes

Jonatan Clase was 2-for-2 with a walk, a two-run single and a stolen base. Je'Von Ward doubled home a pair of runs and Sean Keys doubled and singled. Josh Kasevich singled and took one for the team. CJ Van Eyk was the winning pitcher with five frames of two-run ball on five hits, including a home run. He struck out two without walking anybody. This game was called with one out in the sixth inning due to rain.

Solo homers from Jay Harry, Jorge Burgos and Nick Goodwin were not enough as the Fisher Cats were walked off. CJ Stubbs and Eddie Micheletti had doubles with Stubbs adding a single and Micheletti drawing a walk. Adrian Pinto walked twice. Austin Cates issued just two walks over five no-hit innings and struck out seven to go along with five groundball outs. Holds were credited to Javen Coleman, who worked around a hit and a walk with two whiffs over two innings and Aaron Munson, who struck out one in a scoreless eighth. Yondrei Rojas gave up four runs over 1⅓ innings for the blown save and loss.

Victoria, BC native Sam Shaw celebrated his return to Nat Bailey Stadium with a three-run home run in the first inning. He laid down a bunt single and walked twice, one time with the bases loaded, for a four-RBI night. Kendry Chirinos and Dub Gleed also went deep. Edward Duran had a two-hit effort with an infield RBI single. Alexis Hernández pissed somebody off from Everett as he was drilled not once, not twice but thrice. Tucker Toman was also drilled in the back and walked in his two plate appearances after coming on as a defensive replacement in the third inning. Gleed moved from third to first base to replace Peyton Williams who had a double in three at-bats. Williams was waved around the bases originally as the two-man umpiring crew somehow missed a clear ground-rule double before making the correct call. All 10 Canadians reached base safely via a hit or a walk. Maddox Latta and JR Freethy walked twice. Daniel Guerra, Jay Schueler and Carson Myers all worked three-inning stints. Guerra gave up two hits and struck out three before getting pulled after 46 pitches. Schueler gave up a homer among two hits but struck out four to get the win. Myers scattered three hits and struck out six for the save.

A double steal of second and home by Raimundo De Los Santos and Juan Sánchez in the 10th inning produced a win for the D-Jays. Sánchez and Hedbert Perez had the only extra-base hits. JoJo Parker was on base three times with two singles and a walk and stole two bases. The on-base leader was Adam Hackenberg with a pair of hits and a pair of walks. Blaine Bullard and Jake Cook also swiped a base apiece with Bullard going 1-for-5 and Cook going 0-for-5. Troy Guthrie gave up four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk over 3⅔ innings while striking out three. Franly Urena stranded two runners and punched out four batters over 2⅓ innings of one-walk ball for the win. Josbel Garcia worked around a walk with two strikeouts over a shutout 10th for the save.

Jake Casey belted a first-inning home run and drew a walk in his two plate appearances. Franklin Rojas and Owen Gregg had two hits apiece with Gregg getting a double. Seojun Moon took the loss after surrendering a home run and three runs in total on four hits over 2⅔ innings. He struck out three without walking anyone.

For the DSL Blue, Cristopher Polanco walked twice and Isay Veras walked three times in the top two spots in the order. Michael Mesa had an RBI double and Sebastian Casanova singled home a pair. José Andrades allowed four runs over 3⅓ innings to take the loss but struck out eight. Elian Guzman allowed one of two inherited runners to score but struck out three over 2⅔ shutout innings.

For the DSL Red, Frelian Flores had the only two-hit game and singled home a pair of runs. Elaineiker Coronado and Alex Linares were 1-for-2 with two walks and an RBI at the top of the order. Aneudi Severino had an RBI triple. Victor Espiritu gave up one run on three hits and walked a batter. He struck out two over four innings but was not the victor. That honour went to Rodrigo Ramirez who gave up a run over 2⅔ innings but whiffed a pair. Jarlin Ugarte got the game's final out with a punchout.
