NOTES
The Blue Jays selected Richard Gallardo in the minor league rule 5 draft back in 2024. After missing 2025 Gallardo made eight starts in New Hampshire before being promoted to Buffalo. After two relief appearances Gallardo made his first AAA start in this game. It didn't start very well, two hits and two walks led to four Mets runs in the first inning. Gallardo pitched better over the next three innings but then Yimi Garcia gave up a run and the rest of the bullpen three more.
Sean Keys had an RBI triple in the fourth inning and Josh Kasevich an RBI single in the sixth. That accounted for the Bisons two runs. Rafael Lantigua had two hits.
In the first NH game, an Aaron Parker home run gave NH a 2-0 lead in the first inning. The lead was 2-1 heading to the bottom of the sixth. Alex Amalfi had delivered his best start of the season, four innings, one run. Kelena Sauer was on in relief trying to hold the lead. But two hits and two walks gave the Mets three runs and a 4-2 lead. Nick Goodwin led off the top of the seventh with a double. Three walks followed to make it 4-3 and leave the tying run on third with one out. Jorge Burgos flew out to left and the runner was thrown out at home to end the game.
The Fisher Cats had only two hits and were outhit 7-2.
NH scored four runs in the third inning of game two. Jay Harry had an RBI single, a run scored on an error and Victor Arias hit a two run home run. Eddie Micheletti Jr hit a two run home run in the fifth. In total the Fisher Cats had ten hits, Jay Harry was 3-4, Victor Arias 2-3.
Mason Olson made the spot start. He held the Yard Goats off the board for three innings before they scored two off him in the fifth.
Vancouver outhit Everett 10-5. The C's had seven singles and three doubles, all three doubles came from Jacob Sharp. They pushed his batting average up to .301.
Danny Thompson Jr almost got to five innings, he finished with 4.2 innings and 86 pitches. He had six K's but walked four. Addin four hits and he gave up two runs.
