Peyton Williams went 4-4 and Davis Schneider hit a go ahead two run home run in a good night on the farm. Dunedin were the only losers and they went to extra innings. Holden Wilkerson was the number one star as he was almost perfect in 5.2 innings. The news wasn't so good for Arjun Nimmala and Jojo Parker. Both were hitless and they made two errors each.

NOTES

Davis Schneider hit a two run home run in the top of the ninth to break a 5-5 tie. Schneider also walked twice. Ismael Munguia and Josh Kasevich had two hits each. One of Munguia's was a home run.

Grant Rogers started and went five innings, four runs allowed.

Gage Stanifer made the start for NH and he was just as he was before the all start break. In 4.1 innings he used 84 pitches, 47 strikes and 37 balls. He struck out six, good, but walked three, bad. But he only gave up one run, good.

Jorge Burgos, Eddie Micheletti and Deb Gleed had two hits each. Arjun Nimmala went oh-for-five and made two errors, ouch.

Peyton Williams had a day. He homered in the first inning, doubled in the fourth, singled in the sixth and singled again in the eighth. A nice 4-4 day. Alex Stone was close behind with three hits.

Holden Wilkerson has been battling over the last two months, he had an 8.05 ERA in June. But on Friday he retired the first 12 hitters in a row before walking a hitter. The then recorded five more outs before leaving after 5.2 almost perfect innings. He struck out seven.

Juan Sanchez and Jake Cook had two hits for Dunedin each out of the Jays eight in total. Jojo Parker was twice hit by a pitch, had a sac fly but made two errors.

Giacomo Taschin was charged with four runs in 1.2 innings. He is finding the FSL tougher than the complex league. HIs ERA is up to 7.16. The Jays bailed him out but then Clearwater scored six in the tenth inning.

A trio of rehabbers pitched in the two FCL games. Daniel Guerra, TJ Brock and Conor O'Halloran. Because one of the two FCL games was a suspended game we have an unusual stat. The starter of game one was Angel Rivero who went four shutout innings. The starter in game two was Angel Rivero who went four shutout innings. Rivero has an ERA of 2.36. He has 52 K's in 42 innings. His walks are a little high at 23. Rivero is listed at 5'11" so unless he has a growth spurt he will have to prove himself at every level.

Our new favourite DSL player, Sebastian Casanova had two more hits today, now hitting .364. Again, he is a 5'9" shortstop who is, for now, mainly a singles hitter. But we can dream.
