Ismael Munguia had a big tenth inning hit for Buffalo who held on to win. Vancouver also had good hitting and pitching for another win. But New Hampshire and Dunedin both lost. It was generally a quiet night for the affiliates with few outstanding performances. Johnny King again struggled to find the strike zone while Dasan Hill did not.

NOTES

Ismael Munguia doubled in two runs in the top of the tenth inning to get the win for Buffalo. Earlier three home runs did all the scoring for the Bisons. In the second inning Peyton Williams hit a two run home run, his first in AAA. CJ Stubbs followed with a solo shot. Then in the seventh Sean Keys added a two run home run. Keys also singled. Like many player Keys struggled when he first was demoted from the major leagues. But he has caught fire recently with eleven hits in his last six games. Yohendrick Pinango had three hits.

Richard Gallardo started but he couldn't get through two innings. Six relievers were then needed to get through the game. Like the parent club they will need someone to pitch on Sunday. Grant Rogers starts and they will need innings from him against a strong Red Sox offense.

Johnny King still is having difficulty with strikes. He walked five in four innings on Saturday. He also struck out five. Somerset scored two runs off him, both were hitters who walked. He and Gage Stanifer are starting to look similar n AA.

The Fisher Cats were held to just two hits, both singles.

Vancouver had nine hits and five of them were extra base hits. Maddox Latta had the only home run. Ty Southisene and David Calabrese each singled and doubled. Max Viera doubled and tripled. Viera and Calabrese are both recent free agent signings. Jojo Parker singled and was hit by a pitch.

Dasan Hill made his first home start and was very good. Four innings, four hits, no walks and three K's. Holden Wilkerson went the last five, two runs, three K's.

Tampa were leading Dunedin 14-2 in the seventh before the Jays scored five late runs. Denis Samudio started but all four pitchers used gave up runs.

Jake Cook homered for the Jays and added a double. Blaine Bullard, Raimundo De Los Santos and Giaconino Lasaracina each had two hits.
