Cleveland hold the third wildcard spot and the Jays are 1.5 games back. Noe these teams go head to head for a three game series. The Jays have 24 games to go including six games against the Orioles and three versus Texas, two teams around them in the wild card standings.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday: Miles/Arrighetti Vs Williams

Wednesday: Cease vs Cantillo

Thursday: Soriano vs Bibee

The three Cleveland starting pitchers have started 27, 28 and 28 games each and all of them have ERA's under 4. Cleveland, in contrast to the jays, have had a very stable group of starters. They have used seven starters and one of them, Logan Allen, made one start as an opener. The Jays have used 14 different starting pitchers.

Cleveland have a couple of rookies leading their offense. Chase De Lauter and Travis Bazzana have contributed heavily to the Guardians hitting. Jose Ramirez is ever present. And Steven Kwan is hitting now. He hit around .200 in the first half but hit over .400 in July and hit .347 in August.
