Buffalo held on for a victory and that means a winning Tuesday on the farm.
Buffalo 9 Rochester 8
*** 3 Stars!!! ***
1. Daz Cameron, Buffalo
2. Josh Winckowski, Buffalo
3. Gage Stanifer, Buffalo
Notes
Shawn Ross started a four-run rally in the third inning with an RBI single and came around to score on a Daz Cameron two-run single and an error. Cameron capped off a five-RBI night with a bases-clearing double in the sixth, the Herd's only extra-base hit of the night. Yohendrick Piñango drove in Cameron with what proved to be the winning run with a single. Jay Harry and Nick Goodwin joined Cameron in the two-hit club. Ross drew two walks and Rhylan Thomas also had a hit and two free passes. Josh Kasevich singled and walked. Eight of the nine Bison hitters hit safely except for RJ Schreck, who had two BBs instead.
Trey Yesavage could not get out of the first inning. A one-out walk by former Blue Jay Buddy Kennedy followed by a two-out run-scoring double and an RBI single by Riley Adams chased Yesavage from the game after 34 pitches, 23 for strikes. Yondrei Rojas stranded the runner for Yesavage and worked 1⅔ shutout innings of one-hit ball with a strikeout to get the win. Josh Winckowski got a hold after 2⅓ scoreless stanza in which he struck out four to work around a hit and a walk. José Rodriguez gave up two runs, Chad Dallas coughed up a run and Lazaro Estrada gave up three runs in the ninth, including a homer. Gage Stanifer came into the game with the bases loaded and left them loaded with two swinging strikeouts, both of them on sliders. He threw seven of his 10 pitches for strikes and eight of his 10 pitches were slide pieces.

That's my final minor league recap for 2026. Too many losing Tuesdays for my liking this year. Thanks a million for reading.
