Two of Buffalo's newer pitchers had a bad day. Josh Stephen and Josh Klein, who both came over at the trade deadline, combined to give up eight runs and the Bisons lost by eight.

Buffalo had taken an early 3-0 lead. Peyton Williams singled in two runs and Josh Kasevich singled in another. That 3-0 lead became an 11-4 deficit after seven innings. It got so bad that CJ Stubbs and Nick Goodwin combined to pitch the ninth inning.
The Bisons had eight hits. None were home runs but Daz Cameron and Shawn Ross both tripled. Ross was the only hitter with two hits.
