Decisions to be made
The good advice of friends unheeded
The best of plans mislaid

Just make sure you're planning to attend our "Baseball Day in Canada"!

  1. Fordin Notes on yesterday's games.

  2. Speaking of yesterday's games, here are the MLB.com reports on the game against the Pirates and the game against the Yankees.

  3. Fordin reports that a former Jays manager was on hand yesterday in "Gaston makes special appearance". I'm not a huge Cito fan, but I've never been able to figure out how a guy who won two World Series titles could be passed over for every managing job since he was let go in 1997.

  4. Larry Millson of the Globe reports on the mini homecoming in "Old Blue Jays feel at home again".

  5. As an Expo fan, I'm normally thrilled to see them mentioned in the Globe or Post. However, Jeff Blair's story "Expos' Wilkerson unhappy with contract renewal" is not something Expos fans should be thrilled with. Hopefully this won't impact Brad's play, as he could be the Expos best hitter this year (with apologies to Vidro and Johnson).

  6. Geoff Baker has the Star's take on Cito's return in "Look who's back in dugout".

  7. Richard Griffin had the opportunity to talk to a former Jay and current Pirate in "Mondesi pays big price for the good life: Former Jay fights bad-boy reputation". I can't believe how many people in newsgroups and message boards were against the July 1st, 2002 deal that send Mondesi to the Yankees. With the money saved, it may be the best move J.P. has made in his tenure with the Jays.

  8. Mike Ganter talks to the Jays pitching coach in "Gil is thrilled with his Jays".

  9. The Sun also has the AP game reports of Jays vs. Pirates and Jays vs. Yankees.

So where will the conversation turn when the sun goes down?
