The Jays outlasted the Orioles yesterday winning 5-4 in 12 innings. Toronto goes for the series win, 3 out of 4, and the season's first winning streak today with Doc on the mound.

* Fordin Notes - File finally turning corner, Butterfield's mock draft in review, and Tosca's unique lineup yesterday.

* Here's Geoff Baker's game story. After the game the Jays made two roster moves sending Towers & Lopez to Syracuse and recalling Mike Nakamura & Justin Miller (or is that four moves?). Miller will take Tower's spot in the rotation after a hot start in Syracuse.

* More on the roster moves from the Sun.

* The bullpen saves the game without picking up a save. The Jays pen went seven scoreless innings yesterday allowing only 3 hits. They should get a well deserved day off with Halladay taking the hill this afternoon.

* Elliot on Baseball - The Jays bats will come around. Or will they?

Also, Elliot reports that the Jays have been spending time looking at a trio of Rice University pitchers - Wade Townsend, Phillip Humber, and Jeff Niemann in anticipation of the draft in June. It's good for the travel budget that one team has 3 top pitchers. Unfortunately, it will be very unlikely that any of the 3 top Rice pitchers will be around when the Jays pick at number 16 in the first round. However, if the Jays watch enough Rice games perhaps a 4th Rice starter, Josh Baker, might be someone they're interested in when their sandwich pick (for losing Escobar) or 2nd round pick rolls around.

* Today's Preview - Fordin also notes that the Jays or going for their first 2 game winning streak of the season. Halladay vs Ponson at 1:35 this afternoon.
