And we'll come together fine
All we need is just a little patience

Jays win! Toronto won last night 7-4 behind a 6 run third inning.

* Recaps:
Jays break out of slump - Spencer Fordin
Jays put a fork in Devil Rays - Geoff Baker
Rays of hope for Jays - Mike Rutsey
Unearned runs pave way to win - Jeff Blair

* Notes:
Jays' eyes on Miller - Fordin
Blue Jays Watch - Rutsey

* Last night's guest radio announcer was one familiar to Jays fans as Tom Cheek made his return to the booth for a two inning stint.

* In case you missed it, the Jays signed David Purcey their first pick in the draft. He's headed to Auburn for the rest of the season. This leaves only 'the General' Cory Patton as the only remaining player the Jays are looking to sign (the rest are draft and follows). The Jays are waiting for Patton's stress fracture in his foot to heal before signing him.

* It's Hall of Fame weekend and Paul Molitor and Dennis Eckersley are being inducted. Molitor was a big part of the 1993 championship team, winning the World Series MVP after hitting .500 against the Phillies. Richard Griffin says that Molitor being inducted defies the DH bias.

* Today's game sees a pair of right handed pitchers with matching 4.97 ERAs facing each other in Josh Towers and Rob Bell.
