Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere

Nomar in a Cubs jersey just doesn't look right to me.

  1. Another tough one yesterday, as the Jays dropped the rubber match against the Devil Rays 5-3. The main hilight of the game for the Jays was Alex Rios' first home. Way to go Alex! For other hilights and lowlights, please see Anthony Gagliano's "Rios delivers, but Blue Jays fall", Paul C. Smith's "Rays hold on for rubber game win", Geoff Baker's "Rios lone bright spot in Jays' loss", AP's "D-Rays sting Jays".

  2. Fordin Notes by Anthony Gagliano. Doctors found out what was wrong with Chris Woodward and it isn't as bad as first thought:

Chris Woodward's stomach ailment turned out to be gastritis and not a parasite or virus, as the club feared.

In other good news, Justin Miller's rehab is going swimmingly and he should be back next week.

  3. I really wanted to go to this one, so I'm quite envious of those of you who are able to make it. Today's 1:05PM EST start at the Dome features the 7-7 Ted Lilly for the Jays against the 10-3 lefty Cliff Lee for the Indians as told by the game preview.

This is my last Roundup for awhile as I'll be busy moving. The multi-talented Jordan Furlong is going to take over this week. Enjoy!
