Last night, Jays fans were treated to a nice pitching performance by Josh Towers, quality bullpen work from Speier and Ligtenberg and a booming home run by King Carlos. Today, fans get impressive young David Bush on the mound and a bunch of dogs....really.
It's Bring Your Dog Day at SkyDome once again. Grab your pooch and head on down, if you can. Everyone keep a close eye on your sausages.

Of note, Vernon Wells gets the day off and Sparky replaces him in CF.
Danny Cabrera gets the start for Baltimore against the Jays. He's been praised in some parts for his success this season but most of it is the product of luck. With those 4.35 BB/9IP and 4.19 K/9IP ratios, I'm sure Cabrera has been getting by on a rabbit's foot. Look for the foot to run out of juice this afternoon and for the Jays to put a few runs on the board.
