The Fisher Cats defeated Binghamton 5-2 last night to win the Eastern League's Northern Division crown.

Francisco Rosario pitched six shutout innings and left the game with a 3-0 lead and 2 runners on in the seventh. Travis Thompson allowed the inherited runners to score, but Ryan Houston and Jordan DeJong shut the door; Houston's strikeout of Ron Acuna with the bases loaded in the seventh on a full count pitch and the score 3-2 was the key moment of the game. Rosario allowed 5 hits and 3 walks with 7 strikeouts. The Fisher Cats capitalized on Mets' sloppy play to score their runs. Justin Singleton tripled and singled, and John-ford Griffin also reached base twice.
