Like Dave Berg, who we remembered yesterday, Jason Kershner also left the Blue Jays this offseason to sign with the Boston Red Sox, hoping to catch on with the World Champions.

Jason Kershner left some indelible memories for me, none more so than when he pitched two ruthless, efficient innings on September 3, 2003 that helped the Jays come from behind and beat the Yankees. He always seemed to be more than the sum of his parts, and while I hope he doesn't necessarily put it all together for the rival Red Sox, I hope he goes on to be a major leaguer for a long time yet.
