Very short on time today -- holidays, and all -- so you'll have to be contact with the following minor-league report, written entirely in senyru/haiku. Happy Canada Weekend.

Durham 4 Syracuse 0

Shut down by the Bulls
Alfaro: 3 of team's 4 hits.
Matos’ spot start bad.

Box score

New Hampshire 9 Altoona 4

An offensive explosion
Dingers: Cosby, Kratz and Davenport
Jova: 4 for 5 and doubled thrice.

Ramirez went just 4
4 runs on 7 safeties and 3 walks
Bullpen bailed him out.

Box score

Dunedin 17 Sarasota 3

Like the look of this?
Cannon with a triple and 4 ribs,
Slugging .898

Arnold, Synder both went deep.
Except for Lind and Mayorson,
Every starter hit.

David Purcey cruised
5 shutout innings on 3 hits
4 walks, but 9 Ks!

Box score

Cedar Rapids 2 Lansing 1

Bottom of the ninth:
Double, 2 walks off Scott Roy;
Sac fly wins the game.

Jordan Timm pitched well.
Christian Snavely homered, but
No one else could hit.

Box score

Mahoning Valley 6 Auburn 4

Brian Grant relieved
Gave up 6 runs, got 4 outs
And that’s the ballgame

Patton’s solo shot,
Two Metropoulous doubles were
All the XBH.

Box score

Pulaski 10 Johnson City 7

Another slugfest
Al Quintana drove in 4
Tony Hatch went deep.

Box score

Your Three-Star Selection:

3. Al Quintana, Pulaski

2. Maikel Jova, New Hampshire
