Greeneville, featuring Koby Clemens and Eli Iorg, were defeated by Pulaski. Pulaski's starter Dennis Bigley gave up seven runs, but his ERA went down as all seven runs were unearned. Pulaski scored the winning run in the eighth without registering a hit. David Purcey and Zach Jackson win, and pitch well, while Ricky Romero misses out on the W by only pitching 4.1 innings. Five wins, with only one extra innings loss on the farm last night.
Rochester 2 Syracuse 7
Syracuse had to face one of Minnesota's top prospects, Scott Baker, after losing in the ninth Wednesday night. But on Thursday the hitters were on form and Zach Jackson did enough to win. New Chief Desi Relaford hit a home run in the first inning to give the Chiefs a 1-0 lead. Zach Jackson gave up a single in each of the first three innings but could not limit the damage in the fourth as Rochester tied the game on three hits. Syracuse reclaimed the lead with two in the fourth, with Bryant Nelson and Julius Matos driving in the runs. Jackson left after six innings with his best AAA start under his belt, one run on seven hits. Jason Arnold pitched the seventh and gave up a run to reduce the Chief lead to 3-2, but Syracuse scored four in the eighth to seal the win. In the eighth Kevin Barker doubled in a run and scored on a two run home run by John Ford Griffin. Nelson later doubled home the seventh run. Lee Gronkiewicz got the last four outs for the save. Nelson went 2-4 with two doubles and two RBI's. Barker also had two doubles.

Outstanding pitching led the Fisher Cats to victory. David Purcey pitched five excellent innings, only allowing two hits and two walks while recording ten K's. Jordan DeJong pitched three shutout innings with only one hit allowed and Jesse Carlson pitched the ninth for the save. New Hampshire scored the winning run in the first, Ryan Roberts walked and Anthony Sanders doubled him home. In the third Roberts led off with a single, Cosby also singled, and Acuna singled Roberts home. The Fisher Cats have moved 1.5 games ahead of Trenton for the last playoff spot.

Entering this game Lakeland and Dunedin were tied for the division lead so this was a big win for the D-Jays. Ricky Romero was OK but did not last long enough to get the win, his line was 4.1 6 2 2 2 4. Dunedin got on board with two in the first, Tingler doubled, Lind doubled him home, and a Diaz single scored Lind. Dunedin scored three in the second inning, Smith doubled to lead off, an error and three singles got the three runs home. The last four Dunedin runs scored on solo home runs, Dragicevich and Cota in the fourth, followed by Chiaravalloti and Smith in the fifth. Tingler, Cota, Smith and Dragicevich had two hits each.

Dayton jumped out to a 6-1 lead after five, Lansing scored five runs in the sixth and seventh to tie, but Dayton scored two in the tenth to win. Russell Savickas pitched the first five, allowing the six runs, three earned, on seven hits. The Dayton pitchers helped Pulaski along, a lead off walk came around to score in the first, two walks and a hit batter scored in the sixth. Christian Snavely hit a two run home run in the seventh to tie. Scott Roy decided to "give something back" to Dayton and walked and hit the first two hitters in the tenth. Both scored and Pulaski could not recover.
Chris Snavely was the only Lugnut with two hits.

This was a pitchers duel through five innings. Kristian Bell pitched seven innings and allowed one unearned run on three hits and four walks, leaving the game with Auburn down 1-0. In the bottom of the seventh Brian Pettway doubled in the tying run. Auburn batted around in the eighth, scoring six runs on five hits and two walks. Josh Sowers pitched the last two innings for the win. >Sean Shoffit, Joey Metropoulos and Brian Bormaster each had two hits.

Pulaski scored three in the first, two on a home run by Paul Franco. Anthony Hatch and Jesus Gonzalez homered in the third. The game was tied at 7 heading for the bottom of the eighth when Heliezer Aguilar reached on an error. Three walks later Pulaski had the eventual winning run.
Pulaski had ten hits, and benefited from 4 Greeneville errors. Hatch and Franco were the only Jays with 2 hits.
