Photo of the Day: Massive Upgrades!

Photo of the day has been mostly hiding in the sidebar this year, but today's the big day that I'm unveiling the new technological upgrades to it. That deserves some front page goodness, doesn't it?

Cameras are tools. While a skilled craftsman can transcend the limitations of his tools, his work can only be improved by using the right ones. Up until now, I've been using a screwdriver where I needed to be using a hammer. From now on, I'll be using the hammer.

Photo of the day's upgrades have been made possible by Pentax Canada.  From today onwards, the photos will be sharper, closer and less noisy, and just wait until I get to photograph a day game.  If anyone wants to know the gory equipment details, ask and I'll tell you all about 'em.
