ALOMAR DIVISION:
With the top fourteen teams separated by only 16.5 games, drastic moves in the standings have become commonplace. During the last two weeks, the Edmonton Decepticons have jumped from eighth to second, mostly courtesy of last week’s 12-0-0 blanking of The Mighty Midgets. The Midgets have fallen from third to ninth in two weeks while the once proud Austin Senators now occupy twelfth after two consecutive stinging defeats. Two winning weeks have propelled the Eastern Shore Birds out of the cellar, now stunningly occupied by last year’s champion Thunderbirds. The #9 Midgets face #6 AGF in this week’s marquee matchup.

BARFIELD DIVISION:
The Magic 9 prolonged their reign atop the division with a 9-3-0 victory over fellow first-year Barfielders Baseball North. Team Junior Felix reclaimed some glory with a 10-1-1 dismantling of The Sweaty Guys, who lost by the same margin to the Lubumbashi Posse the week before. The BBFL plays no favorites and takes no quarter, or something like to that effect. This week features a fine marquee matchup of the #3 Moscow Rats and the #4 Pohnpei Papayas.

CARTER DIVISION:
Sexy Underpants continue to leave opponents weak in the knees, increasing their division lead to eight games with a hard fought 6-3-3 triumph over the Big Game Hunters. Underpants had the fourth best roto week in Carter history (out of 600 team-weeks played), but the Hunters scored well enough to take several categories. The New Jersey Stratuses had the second best roto week in Carter history last week, and the best week now belongs to the Wedding Singers, who destroyed Adjustable Chuck two weeks ago. The Roseneath Rockets set a Carter record for K/BB ratio last week, while the Garth Iorg Gremlins set Carter records for average and OBP. This week, the #1 Underpants take on the #6 BSL Blue Sox, and the #3 Blocked Youngsters attack #5 Chico’s Bail Bonds.
