Josh Banks had a strong night on the mound as the affiliates went 5-1.

Syracuse 3 @ Durham 1

Josh Banks had one of his better starts recently giving up just 1 run on 4 hits and 2 walks.  Banks struck out 7.  Jason Frasor faced 4 batters and got just one out, but gave up no runs.  Davis Romero pitched two scoreless innings.

Jason Phillips led the offense going 3-3 including a HR and BB.  John Hattig also had two hits.

New Britain 3 at New Hampshire 14

Dustin Majewski hit his first AA homerun and added a double and 2 walks in 5 plate appearances.  Kratz and Davenport also had homeruns for the Fisher Cats.

Kyle Yates pitched 6 innings giving up 3 runs on 7 hits.  He struck out 2 and walked 2.

Sarasota 2 @ Dunedin 10

Ryan Patterson hit a grand slam for the D-Jays, his only hit in 3 ABs, although he did have 2 sacrifices.  Patterson now has 17 homeruns to lead the FSL.  Ryan Klosterman had his running shoes on as he stole 3 bases following his two hits.  Matthews, Arnold and Nielsen each had two hits.

Russ Savickas had a modest outing.  He gave up just two runs over 6 innings on 5 hits and 3 walks.  Savickas K'd only one batter.

Western Michigan 5 at  Lansing 3

Metropoulos, Bell, and Butler each had 2 hits for the Lugnuts.  Casey McKenzie got his first start for Lansing and went 6.2 innings giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits.  He struck out 4 and walked just one batter.

Mahoning Valley 2 at Auburn 5

Luke Hopkins had 2 doubles in 2 ABs and 2 walks.  He drove in 2 runs.  The rest of the team had two hits.

Hector Delgadillo got the win pitching 6 innings and giving up just 1 run on 3 hits.  He struck out 6 and walked 1.  Zach Dials got the 3 inning save giving up just an unearned run.

Bristol 3 @ Pulaski 5

Francisco Mateo got the win going 5 innings, giving up 2 runs (1 earned) on 2 hits and 4 walks.  Mateo struck out 4.  No batter had more than one hit and Raul Barron had the only extra base hit with a double.
