Chris Reddout pitched a one hitter over seven innings for Auburn but couldn't get the win.  Syracuse wielded the lumber in support of Josh Banks.  Ismael Ramirez had a rare off-day while Russell Savickas lowered his ERA at Dunedin under 2.00.

Syracuse 12  Pawtucket 2

Syracuse took the lead with two in the third inning, Adam Lind homered to lead off the inning, Wayne Lydon singled and stole both second and third before Kevin Barker singled him home.  Barker hit a three run home run in the fifth to make it 5-0, Eric Kratz had a two run shot in the ninth.  Rob Cosby had three hits, Wayne Lydon and Kevin Barker two hits and a walk each, Russ Adams two hits and two walks, and Adam Lind two hits and a sac fly.  Adams is hitting .354, Lind .323.  In a very small sample size Lind has walked eight times in nine games to give him a .450 plus OBP.

Josh Banks benefitted from the support and pitched six shutout innings for his eighth win.

New Hampshire 6  Erie 9

Ismael Ramirez has pitched very well for the Fisher Cats this season but in this game he was not sharp giving up four solo home runs in four innings.  Kyle Yates fared no better giving up four runs also.  Despite that New Hampshire had the lead in the fifth inning.  Ryan Patterson doubled and scored in the second inning; Manny Mayorson hit a three run home run in the fourth; followed by a Dustin Majewski solo home run.  But Erie scored three runs in the seventh off Yates to take the lead for good. Mayorson continued his hot hitting with 3 hits, Majewski and Patterson had two hits each.

Dunedin 5  Jupiter 1

Russell Savickas pitched six innings of three hit ball, allowing only an unearned run to get the win.  Savickas is now 6-1 at Dunedin and has a 1.98 ERA.  Scott Dragicevich and Juan Peralta carried the offense for Dunedin, they both singled and scored in the third inning; Dragicevich doubled in a run in the fourth; and Dragicevich singled and Peralta doubled in the seventh with both scoring.

Lansing 7  Cedar Rapids 5

Adrian Martin gave up three runs in the first inning but settled down thereafter and completed five innings without further damage.  Joey Metropoulos homered in the second and four singles led to three runs in the fourth.  After Jordan Timm gave up a home run to tie the game, Brian Pettway hit a three run homer to seal the win for the Lugnuts.

Williamsport 1  Auburn 2

Ben Zeskind homered in the first inning and Chris Reddout threw a one-hitter for seven innings and Auburn took a 1-0 lead to the ninth, but Zach Dials gave up the tying run in the top of the ninth.  In the bottom of the ninth, with two out, back-to-back doubles by Adam Calderone and Jonathan Baksh produced the winning run.  Reddout deserved the win but Dials got it., and a blown save

Danville 14  Pulaski 1

Danville built a 11-0 lead after five innings and cruised thereafter.  They only outhit Pulaski 12-11 but Danville had seven extra-base hits to none by Pulaski.  Raul Barron and Wesley Stone had two hits each.
