The red hot Adam Lind can now be considered white hot after a 4-4 night including his 24th HR of the year.

Runs were aplenty last night as the affiliates went 2-3.

Syracuse 8 @ Scranton-Wilkes Barre 9

Adam Lind was 4-4, with a 3 run HR in the 9th, but it was not enough to pull out the victory. The HR was his 5th for the Chiefs and 24th on the season. Lind has now upped his batting line to .400/.504/.610 in 105 ABs for Syracuse. Expect to see Lind in a Blue Jay uniform on September 5th following the conclusion of Syracuse's season.

Rob Cosby and Luis Figueroa also hit home runs for the Chiefs.

Ismael Ramirez had a tough start giving up 5 runs in 5 innings on 5 hits and 2 walks.


Connecticut 6 @ New Hampshire 7

David Purcey had one of his better starts giving up just two runs in 6 innings. Purcey struck out 7 and walked just one.

The middle of the Fisher Cat order was going good last night as Smith, Cannon, Patterson, Kratz and Olsen each had two hits. One of Olsen's two hits was a 3 run HR.


Dunedin 2 @ Lakeland 8


The D-Jays managed just 6 hits on the night. Aaron Matthews was the only one to manage more than one hit.

Russ Savickas had a mixed start giving up 2 runs in 5.2 innings. Savickas gave up 4 hits, including a HR, and 3 walks while striking out 4.


Lansing 7 at W Michigan 4

Lansing scored 3 in the ninth inning to break a 4-4 time. Jacob Butler had the big hit with a 2 run single. Butler was 2-4 with 4 RBIs. Anthony Garibaldi went 2-4 with a HR.

Sean Stidfole got the start and gave up 3 runs on 5 hits and 4 walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out 4.

Auburn at Williamsport - PPD, rain

Pulaski 12 at Bristol 9

The P-Jays banged out 12 hits on the night. CF Chris Emanuele led the way going 3-4, including a double, 2 triples, and a walk. Roger Ebarb had 3 hits while Luis Fernandez had two singles and a walk.
