The Northeast US is never seeing the sun again.

Scranton WB at Syracuse - Postponed

New Hampshire at Connecticut - Postponed

Sarasota 5 at Dunedin 3

Coming into last night's game Brandon Magee had given up 10 earned runs in 2 innnings.  Last night was a big improvement.  Magee gave up 2 runs (1 earned) in 4 innings on 5 hits and two walks.  He struck out 1 and had 7 ground outs to 4 fly outs.

Jacob Butler is off to a fast start this year.  He got a brief trial in Dunedin last year and had a .482 OPS in 55 ABs.  This year he's currently has an 1.031 OPS over his first 11 games.  Last night he had two singles in four ABs.

Cory Patton also had two hits, and two RBIs, for the D-Jays including a double.  Anthony Hatch had 2 hits and a walk.

Kane County 6 at Lansing 7

Lansing scored all 7 runs in the 5th inning and that held up for the win.  Here's how the inning went:

    * Sean Shoffit grounds out
    * Matthew Liuzza triples
    * Jonathan Jaspe singles
    * Matthew Lane singles
    * Jonathan Diaz walks.
    * Scott Campbell doubles
    * Yuber Rodriguez doubles
    * Travis Snider doubles
    * Brian Pettway singles
    * Sean Shoffit strikes out swinging
    * Matthew Liuzza flies out

Shoffit made two outs in the same inning.  Does that mean he has to buy a round for the team?

On the mound, my man Kyle Ginley made the start.  The 20 year old didn't fare as well as his first start of the year, as he gave up 2 runs in 3.2 innings last night.  He struck out 4 and walked 2 while giving up 5 hits.

3 Starts!
3 - Anthony Hatch
2 - Matthew Liuzza
1 - Cory Patton
