With the addition of some new talent to the minor league system yesterday, a depth chart incorporating some of the new talent, in lieu of the usual Friday summary seems in order. The Jays had seven picks in the first, supplemental and second rounds.

The depth chart
The idea here is to look to 2010 or 2011, and see who might be here or close to being ready. Some of the choices might seem arbitrary. Brandon Magee probably belongs on the starting pitcher list (and has now been added), and a couple of the relievers might end up as starters and vice versa. And don't even ask about the decision to put Towers on the list of pitchers, and not Zaun on the list of catchers. Feel free to write Zaun's name in, if you feel the need .
