John-Ford Griffin hit two home runs and Sal Fasano one to propel the Chiefs to victory. Ryan Patterson and David Smith homered as the Fisher Cats won. Manuel Rodriguez hit a three run home run in the first inning as Auburn won. Dunedin won without a home run and with little help from Reed Johnson or newest Jay Scott Sauerbeck. Lansing were the lone losers. On Canada Day the eight Canadians in the Jays system went 1-8 six of them not playing on their day.

John-Ford Griffin hit a two run home run in the first and Sal Fasano hit a solo shot in the sixth while Ty Taubenheim gave up three runs in five innings leading to a 3-3 tie after six. The Chiefs strung together three hits and an error in the seventh to score three runs, then three more hits and a walk to score two more in the eighth. Griffin hit his second home run of the night in the ninth to seal the win. Griffin was 3-5, Adams, Mottola and Fasano had two hits each.
New Hampshire 5 Portland 2
Ryan Patterson led off the fifth inning with a solo home run to score the first run in the game. John Schneider and Ryan Klosterman followed with singles, and the second run scored on a ground out and a third on an Aaron Mathews single. David Smith led off the sixth with another solo home run to make it 4-0. Ismael Ramirez pitched seven strong shutout innings giving up five hits. Sean Stidfole gave up two runs in the fifth but Tracey Thorpe shut the door. Mathews was 3-5, Patterson 2-5.
Dunedin 4 Sarasota 1
Dunedin scored three times in the sixth to take the lead, Anthony Hatch was hit by a pitch; Eric Neilsen doubled him home; Kyle Philips doubled in another; Josh Kreuzer singled and Cory Patton hit a sac fly. Jesus Gonzalez doubled and scored on an error in the seventh. Reed Johnson was 0-3 with a walk.
The Jays used five pitchers. Kristian Bell started and worked only three innings, he gave up three hits but walked four and struck out five, his pitch count was likely high. Scott Sauerbeck pitched an inning but Billy Carnline pitched three shutout innings to lower his ERA to 0.87.
Lansing 1 Great Lakes 6
Graham Godfrey gave up runs in four of five innings, six runs total, four earned, on nine hits. Lansing tallied six hits in the contest, none for extra bases, with two each by Josh Bell and Yuber Rodriguez.
Mahoning Valley 4 Auburn 6
Auburn scores five runs in the first as eleven hitters came to the plate, Shane Benson shut down MV for his three innings and Auburn cruised to the win. Auburn had only eight hits, they bunched them in the first inning when Manuel Rodriguez hit a three run shot. JP Arencibia went 2-4, Wesley Stone went 2-2 with a walk.
