Halladay, Rios lead Jays Award Winners

The Toronto chapter of the Baseball Writers of America have released their 2007 award winners. Roy Halladay was named pitcher of the year; Alex Rios player of the year; Jesse Litsch top rookie; and Dustin McGowan most improved player.

Halladay won for the third year in a row, and the fifth time in the last six years. The top three in each category, with their vote totals were:

In addition John McDonald won the John Cerutti award in recognition of his goodwill, cooperation and character.
