Buffalo 2 at Syracuse 3: Bill Murphy - 7 innings, 2 runs, 4 walks, 9 Ks. The Chiefs had 14 singles and no XBHs. Joe Inglett is batting .412 on the year in AAA.
New Hampshire 5 at Portland 4: Brett Cecil - 4.2 innings, 3 hits, 1 run, 1 BB, 4Ks. Good improvement after a shaky 1st AA outing. David Smith made his first AA start in 2008 and went 2-5 with a 2B.
Dunedin 9 at Vero Beach 4: Benetiz picked up the win with a scoreless inning in his first appearance in several weeks. Pettway threw two scoreless in his Dunedin pitching debut. Brian Dopriak went 2-3 with a HR.
Beloit 4 at Lansing 2: Magnuson - 3 innings, 2 hits, 1 run, 4 BBs, 2 Ks. Jackson and Ahrens each continue to hit., each with a single (Jackson also had a SB and BB). Both are much further ahead than I think most could have anticipated at this point.
