The affiliates went 4-2 on the night.

LeHigh Valley 9 Syracuse 5

Bill Murphy continued his downward spiral and allowed five runs on eight hits and five walks in five innings. He also struck out five. Sean Stidfole allowed two runs in 2.2 innings. Rick Bauer made his debut for Syracuse and allowed two runs in two-thirds of an inning. Offensively, Buck Coats and Wayne Lydon each went 2-for-5 with a run scored. Hector Luna and Russ Adams were 1-for-3 with two RBI each.

New Hampshire 4 Connecticut 3

Brandon Magee finally won his second game of the year. He allowed three runs in 6.2 innings. Jean Machi picked up his third hold and Zach Dials saved his 13th game. Travis Snider went 1-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Ryan Klosterman was 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Dunedin 8 St. Lucie 7

Ray Gonzalez allowed seven runs in four innings thanks to 11 hits and two walks. Adrian Martin worked three scoreless innings, while Cody Crowell and Connor Falkenbach worked scoreless innings. Offensively, Anthony Hatch went 4-for-4 after his recent demotion from Double-A to High-A ball. He is now hitting .636 for Dunedin in six games. David Corrente went 2-for-5 with a homer and two RBI. Sean Shoffit was 3-for-5 with a solo homer. Cory Patton was 0-for-3 with two walks and threw out two runners at home.

Burlington 10 Lansing 4

Defensively, it was an ugly game. Kevin Ahrens made three errors, Justin Jackson made two and Raul Barron, Eric Eiland and Manny Rodriguez had one each. Brian Letko was roughed up and allowed six runs in 2.1 innings on six hits and two walks. Jimmy Dougher allowed four runs in two innings. Michael Barbara threw 3.2 scoreless innings and allowed just one hit. Frank Gailey threw a scoreless inning. Offensively, Jonathan Baksh went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo homer. David Cooper was 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Jonathan Jaspe was 1-for-2 with two runs, a homer and two walks.

Auburn 9 Lowell 4

Carlos Perez allowed four runs in six innings on eight hits and one walk. He struck out seven. Dan O'Brien allowed two hits in two innings. Adam Amar, Jonathan Del Campo, Luis Rivera and Joel Collins all had two hits each. Luis Rivera had two doubles and four RBI. Christopher Hopkins went 1-for-4 with two RBI and stole two bases.

GCL Jays 3 GCL Phillies 2

Henderson Alvarez allowed just one run in five innings on four hits. He struck out three and did not walk a batter. John Anderson kept his pro scoreless streak alive and did not allow a run in two innings. Dustin Antolin allowed a run in two-thirds of an inning. Ryan Koch worked 1.1 scoreless innings for his fifth save. Arvin Gonzalez went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Yensy Perez was 1-for-3 with a run scored and a walk. He also stole a base, as did Tyler Pastornicky and Justin McClanahan.
