Only one win for the affiliates, a big come from behind, ninth inning, win by Dunedin.  Justin Jackson was 2-3 with three RBI's.  It's a very small sample but in the three games since coming off the DL Jackson is 7-9 with no strikeouts.  

Las Vegas 1  Nashville 5

Las Vegas scored in the first inning.  Buck Coats led off the game with a double, stole third, and scored on a ground out.  Brian Burres was on the mound for the 51's and kep the game tied at one until the sixth inning.  In that inning Burres gave up two more runs and TJ Beam gave up two more in the seventh. 

Vegas had only five hits.


New Hampshire 0  Connecticut 1 - resumed game

This was the completion of an April 20th game which was rained out after five innings with the score at 0-0.  Brandon Magee picked up from the promoted Fabio Castro and went nine up and nine down from the 6th through the 9th.  New Hampshire picked up one hit from the 6th to the 9th but no runs.  In the bottom of the ninth Magee gave up a lead-off, walk-off, home run, to end the game.


New Hampshire at Connecticut - regularly scheduled game

This game was suspended after one inning with Connecticut up 1-0.  Randy Boone was on the mound.


Dunedin 5  Tampa 3

Andrew Liebel avoided trouble in the first three innings even though he put five runners on base.  In the fourth a lead-off double came around to score and Tampa led 1-0.  Dunedin tied the game in the top of the fifth, Adam Loewen led off with a walk, Jon Jaspe singled him to third and Justin Jackson hit a sac fly to tie the game.  Liebel gave up a lead-off single in the fifth and a Tolisano error, his second, put runners on first and third.  A double play ball got two outs but scored a run and Tampa were back on top.  Adam Loewen tripled leading off the sixth and scored on a Justin Jackson single.

In the eighth a single and a walk put two men on with one out.  Jon Tolisano made his third error to load the bases.  Cody Crowell came on to get the second out but then he hit a batter to force in a run and make it 3-2 Tampa.

Jaspe singled to lead-off the ninth and a wild pitch moved him to second.  Jackson doubled to tie the game.  Raul Barron bunted Jackson to third but an error let him reach first base.  Darin Mastroianni doubled in Jackson and left runners on second and third.  An insurance run scored on a sac fly to make it 5-3.  Danny Farquhar worked a 1-2-3 ninth.

Dunedin had nine hits, Jaspe and Jackson had two each, Jackson had three RBI's.


Dayton 5  Lansing 4

Josh Wells gave up three runs on six hits in six innings, but four of the hits, two of them doubles, came in the third inning when he gave up all three runs.  Lansing got a run back in the fourth with consecutive singles from Brian Van Kirk, Mike McDade and Justin McClanahan. The Lugnuts made it a one run game in the sixth, McClanahan doubled home Yohermyn Chavez who had singled.

Yorman Mayora replaced Wells in the seventh and threw gas on the fire, three doubles allowed in two thirds of an inning put Dayton up 5-2.  In the bottom of the ninth McDade and McClanahan led off with singles but the next two hitters made outs.  Kenny Wilson doubled in a run and another scored on a wild pitch to make it a one run game with the tying run on third but Tyler Pastornicky flew out to end the game.

McClanahan was 3-3, Chavez and McDade had two hits each.
