He "only" had eight RBI, falling one shy of the club record.  I think that qualifies him for our POTD!

Adam Lind hit a grand slam in the fourth inning and had the equivalent of a grand slam in the ninth with a home run and four RBI that came in the form of a solo homer and a bases-clearing double.  The Jays pretty much needed every one of them (or so it seemed!) as they clubbed Texas 18-10 Tuesday night at the Ballpark in Arlington.  Lind stole POTD honours from Rod Barajas, who haunted his former club with two bombs and five runs batted in.

Lind almost matched the team record that Roy Howell set back in the Jays inaugural season of 1977.  It was September 10th when the red-headed third baseman belted two homers and nine RBI as the Jays pulverized the New York Yankees 19-3 in the Bronx.  Good times!  I was too young to recall this but still, good times!!
