The question for this thread is who from New Hampshire is on the way to take the slot at Las Vegas opened up by McCoy's recall?
My money is on Diaz. Las Vegas could use the AAA experience, defence and he can play 3rd, 2nd and short. And in a pinch, he's played outfield too.
But it could be Infielder Callix Crabbe who has experience at AAA and goes by the best name in baseball. He can play 3rd, 2nd, short and even outfield as well.
Don't count out the Pride of British Columbia, Bowman, who is roughed up right now. Is he done ailing enough to get the call to AAA? He's most experienced at 3rd only. Best hitter of the bunch.
Or is time for shortstop A-Hech to get the call to Las Vegas before he goes to the show in September? He's certainly shaken off his beginner's jitters since moving to AA.
And will the move deprive New Hampshire of a good infielder for the Eastern League playoffs or will he be back for the championship series with the Fisher Cats?
